One of Ansamed’s key strengths is in working with medical device manufacturers to identify tubing characteristics which provide optimal balloon blowing (process yield) and mechanical performance.

Ansamed have a unique “3 for the price of 1” balloon tubing trialling system. We will provide 3 sets of balloon tubing to your dimensional specifications. Each set of balloon tubing will have specific mechanical characteristics (elongation). Once you determine which set of tubing works best for you, we will fix the optimum mechanical specification for future lots ensuring consistency of ongoing supply.

We produce balloon tubing for varying devices such as PTCA, PTA and respiratory catheters using a diverse range of materials.

All balloons are produced on 6 sigma processes with excellent outer diameter process capability (Cpk > 1.5). Critical to successful balloon blowing, we achieve concentricity specifications > 90%

Balloon tubing can be produced from customised materials in one or two layer configurations.
